80’s Music Rules ~ More from Retrospect CFRC-FM ~ 05-26-09

cfrc-fm1

We’re so happy Ed-FM was back this week that we could hardly stand it! And, Ed himself seemed really glad to be back in the groove. He started off a sizzling hot set with Boys Brigade – “Saigon” and treated us to an ultra-rare find from his visit to Quebec City – David Bowie’s “Heroes” in English and French. Ed continued to entertain with his stash of rare finds from his recent trip – we were definitely the lucky ones to be on the receiving end. I just know there will be much more as time goes on and I can’t wait.

Be sure to tune in to Ed and his “rock ‘til you drop” 80’s Retrospect show on CFRC-FM from 8 pm until 10 pm on Tuesday nights. Ed takes requests by phone: (613) 533-CFRC (2372) or email: retrospectcfrc at yahoo dot ca. Indulge yourself in some “80’s Music that doesn’t suck.” I guarantee die-hard 80’s New Wave/post-punk fans will not be disappointed.

  1. Thanks again MissP, the radio stations website has been redone and is not working. They have put a link to this wonderful blog from Retrospect on the show schedules. Also, the archives are now working again. You can go back and listen to past shows. There are still some bugs (eg the time may be off by an hour…so if you are looking for this show at 8pm you need to select 9pm.).

Keep up the greet work, see on the marsbartheater, I cannot pass up an opportunity to hear Geets again.

    Cheers

  2. Hiya ((((((Ed))))))

Noticed I was getting hits from the CFRC site and was thrilled to see the link-up! 🙂 I hope it helps to give you more exposure – you absolutely deserve it. Thanks, also, for the explanation of how things work over at the site.

Looking forward to some laughs tonight with Marsden and Geets – OMG, it should be a hoot. “See” you in the Theatre.

    Hugs,

  3. Also, if you have a moment MissP, I’d love to know your thoughts on the Comsat Angels. I see them mentioned all over the place but I’ve somehow never had the pleasure of listening to them. Hmmm. Maybe its time for a YouTube search…
